Eric Allan Dolphy^[1] (ur. 20 czerwca 1928 w Los Angeles, zm. 29 czerwca 1964 w Berlinie Zachodnim^[1][2]) – amerykański jazzowy saksofonista altowy, flecista i klarnecista basowy, często kojarzony z jazzem awangardowym.

Jego styl charakteryzuje się użyciem długich odstępów i dwunastostopniowej skali tonu. Określany mianem free jazzu. Po śmierci Dolphy'ego, jego styl został określony jako "zbyt wewnątrz by być na zewnątrz, i zbyt na zewnątrz by być wewnątrz"^{potrzebne źródło}.
